An ETF programme to boost national capacity of high-quality maths and English teaching in the post-16 sector – specifically targeting teachers at risk of redundancy.
In two years, Cognition recruited 189 participants, and 60 FE Colleges and Independent Training Providers.
Each participant committed to 10 days’ professional development in maths or English to improve subject knowledge and teaching approaches.
To-date, we are thrilled that participant retention remains high.
